FurWalk

The headline event that started it all! FurWalk is our walking tour of the city, where we take fursuiters, their handlers, photographers, and other friends of the furry community to a different part of the city every month. This is the perfect meet for those looking for incredible photos in the city, discovering a new favorite place, or to casually meet members of the amazing and growing NYC furry community!

Description

Springing into the spring season with the first of our two "large park" FurWalks - starting with Prospect Park in Brooklyn! This historic and iconic park has plenty to see, including terrain that almost makes you forget that you're even in the middle of New York City! Join us on April 11th as we revisit a past FurWalk location from August 2025, this time with (hopefully) cooler weather!

Date

World Trade Center / The Oculus

Location

The very first NYC FurWalk was accomplished with 2 days notice, 2 days worth of planning, and about 20 furries. The idea to run this idea as an event open to all furries in the area was headed by co-owners Zane and Fane, who were the only people considered "staff" at the time of this event.

This FurWalk tested the waters for what was possible for public suiting in New York City, and the successful outcome of this first-time event would lead to much bigger things down the road (even if they didn't know it yet).
